    How this is calculated

Net monthly burn is your average monthly burn minus monthly revenue. With no growth, runway is simply cash on hand divided by net burn. When you enter a growth rate, we project month by month, growing revenue each month, recomputing net burn and drawing down cash until it hits zero. If revenue covers or exceeds burn, you are cash flow positive and there is no depletion to show.

Months of runway (flat) = Cash ÷ (Burn − Revenue). With growth, cash is drawn down month by month.

Indicative estimate only, not financial advice. Real runway depends on timing, seasonality, working capital swings, one off items and the reliability of your forecast. Treat this as a starting point, not a plan.

    What extends your runway

The levers that move the date, in roughly the order we test them.

    Cut net burn

Every euro of monthly burn removed adds runway directly. Start with discretionary spend and unprofitable activity, not blunt cuts.

    Accelerate revenue

Faster collections, higher prices and shorter sales cycles all reduce net burn and stretch the same cash further.

    Bring in capital

Equity, debt or grants reset the starting cash balance. Raise from a position of strength, not when the runway is almost gone.

    When to use this

A quick read before any board, bank or investor conversation.

    Before a raise

Know exactly how long your cash lasts so you start the process with time to negotiate, not under pressure.

    Board and investor updates

Report a clear, defensible runway figure and the date it implies, every cycle.

    Scenario planning

Test how cost cuts or faster revenue change the date before you commit to either.
