What is your business worth?
A grounded starting point for the value of your company. We adjust EBITDA for owner add backs, apply a sector multiple range and bridge to equity value after net debt and excess cash. The same logic a buyer will use.
Your indicative valuation
All figures stay in your browser. Nothing is sent until you choose to unlock the full bridge.
Use your latest sustainable EBITDA, or owner cash flow for an owner run business. We will normalize it below.
A positive number for genuine add backs (above market owner salary, one off costs, personal expenses run through the business). A negative number to strip out overstated earnings.
Typical small company EBITDA multiples sit around 3x to 6x. Quality, growth and scale push it higher; concentration and key person risk push it lower.
Interest bearing debt minus operating cash. Enter a positive number for net debt, a negative number for a net cash position.
Cash and non operating assets the business does not need to run. These add to equity value on top of the trading business.

How this is calculated
We start from your EBITDA or owner cash flow and apply your add backs to reach a normalized, adjusted EBITDA. We multiply that by the low and high ends of your sector multiple to get an enterprise value range. We then bridge to equity value: subtract net debt and add any excess cash and surplus assets. Equity value is what would reach you, the owner, before tax and deal costs.
Enterprise value = adjusted EBITDA × multiple. Equity value = enterprise value − net debt + excess cash.
Indicative estimate only, not a formal valuation or financial advice. Real valuations depend on the quality of earnings, growth, customer concentration, deal structure and live market appetite. A buyer will normalize your numbers themselves.
